Chima Simone couldn’t think of a better place to spend the recession than the “Big Brother” house.
“I thought it’d be fun,” said the 32-year-old freelance journalist, one of 13 contestants who will be locked away for the 11th season.
This summer’s contestants include a surfer, bikini model, “World of Warcraft” gamer, a neuroscientist, tae kwon do champion and fifth-grade teacher.
In “The Fast & the Funniest,” a new reality competition show that ABC is developing, comedians have to be funny on the fly.
The show follows a group of stand-ups as they travel cross-country competing in challenges and performances. The first three to reach the final destination will perform for a cash prize.
This week The Fashion Show is airing on a special night — TONIGHT — and with only SIX remaining designers, the pressure is ON to make it to the final fashion show. The designers get a surprise present from Isaac containing a chic silk robe that will serve as inspiration for their Harper’s Bazaar Mini Challenge to design a complete loungewear set.
The contestants then visit a psychic to help determine their fate, causing them to all speculate on who is next to get eliminated and who will make it to the finale. Will the tarot cards predict the designers’ fates?

Guest judge and fashion insider Fern Mallis turns up the heat while the models continue to try and survive elimination.

Choreographer and “So You Think You Can Dance” star Shane Sparks showed the Knicks City Dancers hopefuls some serious moves on Monday night.
